Access
Okushiga Kogen ski resort which is located in the northernmost of Shiga Kogen is not very convenient to access, but from Nagano station, you can easily get around by express bus with no worry of snow road driving.
In case of coming by car, please use studless tires on 4WD vehicle and do not forget to bring snow chains.
By Car
From the Joshinetsu Expressway Shinshu Nakano IC, take National Highway 292 bound for Shiga Kogen area and go to Ichinose Okushiga area at Hasuike junction.
Approximately 50 minutes from Shinshu Nakano IC
※In winter, use studless tires and carry snow chains for anti-skid countermeasure.
※In case you come by diesel fuel vehicle, we recommend to fill up in Shiga Kogen area. Freeze up of the fuel will be avoidable by refueling in cold regions.
Parking in front of Okushiga Kogen center house
Convenient to access Okushiga Kogen Hotel, Grand-phoenix Okushiga and pension town.
By Train & Bus
Guidance for public transportation
It is convenient to use an Express Bus of Nagano Electric Railway from Nagano station.
